How to Host a Pink-Mas: A Pink Themed Holiday Party for the Girls
Dreaming of a pink Christmas? Hosting a pink-themed holiday gathering is a wonderful way to add a romantic, whimsical twist to traditional holiday festivities. Here’s how I created a cozy, elegant soirée filled with charming details and delicious food
Decor
I wanted to keep things playful yet sophisticated, so I leaned into stripes for a wintery vibe. I even hand-drew some ribbon patterns in Canva to create a custom striped background—it’s simple but chic, and I might share it with you all soon!
Romantic Details:
Pink bows: These were everywhere—on the tree, on gifts, and even tied around napkins. It added a cohesive and festive touch that felt soft and dreamy.
Champagne bucket with roses: Dropping a few pink roses into an ice-filled champagne bucket is such an easy way to make your bar area feel elevated and romantic.
Roses, roses, roses, everywhere: On the bar cart, on the tables, everywhere!
Place Settings
For the table, I opted for a pink satin tablecloth—no runner this time, to let the color shine. To balance the femininity of pink, I’ve been into silver lately and used silver cutlery and table settings for a modern, polished vibe.
Each place setting featured small bud vases filled with pink and red roses. The combination felt lush without being overwhelming and complemented the rest of the table beautifully.
The Menu
I love a simple but crowd-pleasing menu that feels special but doesn’t leave me stuck in the kitchen all day. Here’s what I served:
Cheese and accoutrements: A classic start to any gathering. Think creamy brie , crackers, and grapes.
Marinated gigantic beans: A fresh, zesty dish made with shallots, lemon, olive oil, chili flakes, and parsley. So easy and so good!
Roasted chicken and potatoes: The ultimate comfort food. I went for a golden, juicy roast paired with crispy, herby potatoes.
Shaved Brussels sprouts: Roasted with parmesan and balsamic vinegar, these are a festive favorite with lots of flavor.
Croquembouche: Nothing says “holiday centerpiece” quite like a croquembouche. It’s a showstopper and always gets everyone excited!
Drinks
For drinks, I kept it classic and pretty with rosé champagne. But if you’re looking for something festive, here are a couple of fun ideas:
Spiced Pomegranate Punch: Start with pomegranate juice and mix in bourbon, warm spices, cranberries, and a rosemary garnish.
Mocktail Version: Skip the bourbon and use sparkling water or ginger ale for a non-alcoholic option.
Goody Bags
To send my guests home with something special, I put together pink goody bags filled with my favorite scented candles. This part is totally optional, but it’s a sweet way to add a personal touch.
Hosting a pink Christmas party was a dreamy way to celebrate the season. Between the romantic decor, delicious food, and fun little details, it felt like stepping into a holiday fairytale. If you’re inspired to host your own pink-themed gathering, I hope these tips help you create something just as magical!
Happy hosting, and don’t forget to tag me if you recreate any of these ideas—I’d love to see your spin on it! ✨🎀
With Love,
Cristina
